Paul Michael, MD

Paul Michael, MD, is a triple board-certified cardiologist, interventional cardiologist, and internist at Palm Beach Heart & Vascular in Boynton Beach, Florida. Dr. Michael’s three board certifications and years of training make him uniquely qualified in specialize in vascular disease and amputation prevention. He also routinely treats numerous cardiovascular conditions with a holistic approach. 

Dr. Michael attended the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, before completing his residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston. He served as chief resident before moving on to a fellowship at John Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in Jefferson, Louisiana, as the chief fellow. 

After completing his formal education and training, Dr. Michael has continued to travel the world, training other physicians in the same minimally invasive procedures he learned during his fellowship. Combining his distinctive skill set and empathy, he strives to improve patients’ quality of life and reduce suffering while they experience various forms of advanced cardiovascular disease. 

At Palm Beach Heart & Vascular, Dr. Michael frequently treats conditions like vascular related leg wounds and leg pain associated with deep vein thrombosis, peripheral artery disease, and atherosclerosis. He uses vascular ultrasounds to evaluate these conditions and plan or assess treatment. 

Outside the office, Dr. Michael educates other providers both nationally and internationally. He also frequently lectures on amputation prevention and is the medical director at JFK Wound Management and Limb Preservation Center in West Palm Beach, Florida.
